IOSH – Safety Representative Programme

There is a provision under The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 which entitles employees to select a Safety Representative to represent employees to management on Health & Safety issues. This Safety Representative Course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to carry out the role of Safety Representative.

  • List 3 steps in the development of a safety statement
  • Use checklists when carrying out inspections
  • State how to deal with accidents and incidents
  • Check health and safety information
  • Name the fundamentals of safety management

Any member of the workforce elected as Safety representative for their work place

Cert & Assessment

This programme is approved by IOSH and an IOSH Certificate for Safety Representative will be awarded to all participants on the programme who successfully complete both the theoretical and practical assessments.
